Your accounting firm doesn't need more leads.
It needs a predictable way of turning marketing into new clients.
Most firms don't have an acquisition system. They have a collection of things they've tried.
Or read on to see how it works.
This isn't a marketing system.
- ?
- New clients
And somehow it's expected to produce consistent growth.
When the pieces aren't connected, growth becomes reactive.
- You get enquiries when something happens.
- You get quiet periods when it doesn't.
- You take the clients that arrive because you don't know when the next ones are coming.
- Your team can't plan properly.
- You can't confidently hire ahead of demand.
And you're still asking yourself:
- “Where are the next 10 clients coming from?”
A proper acquisition system works backwards from the result.
Who do you actually want?
Not “any business owner”. The clients that make sense for your firm.
Why should they choose you?
Your positioning, offer and brand need to make that obvious.
Where do they come from?
Build the channels that can consistently reach them.
How do you qualify them?
More leads shouldn't mean more rubbish conversations.
How do they become clients?
The system needs to carry them through to conversion.
This is what happened for Prads.
33
new clients in 4 months
Not from hoping referrals would increase. From building the acquisition system around the clients they actually wanted.
How we get paid: 10% of the first-year fees we create.
Most of what we earn only exists if clients do.
When a client the system brought you pays their monthly fee, we invoice 10% of it. A £200 a month client means £20 a month to us, for their first twelve months, and then nothing. If they leave early, the invoices stop. That fee is invoiced as the money lands, not before.
Alongside it, a monthly fee that covers delivery.
Building the system, running the campaigns, and the software it all sits on. It is small next to the success fee, and we set the exact figure with you on the call once we know what your firm needs.
The one cost that isn't ours is ad spend, paid to the platform, from around £300 a month. That is the fuel the system runs on.
Who this is for. And who it isn't.
We turn firms away every week. That is what keeps the partnership working for the ones we take on.
A Growth Partner is
- An owner building a real business, with a target for where the firm should be in five years.
- Able to take on new clients now, a real number each month, not a hopeful one.
- Ready to grow capacity, or to replace lower-value clients with better ones as they arrive.
- Mostly referral-led today and tired of growth that arrives when it feels like it.
- Working mainly with business clients, and clear on the kind they want more of.
- Able to fund ad spend and a monthly delivery fee, with the bulk of what we earn tied to the clients we bring.
This won't work if
- The firm is a well-paid job you are happy to keep at its current size.
- You are full, with no plan to hire or to let the wrong clients go.
- You would take any enquiry that lands, whoever it is.
- You want more marketing, but no target for what it should produce.
- Almost all of your work is self-assessment.
- There is no budget for ad spend or delivery, however well the system performs.
We build these systems as Growth Partners.
- You set the growth target.
- We work backwards from it.
- We build the acquisition system around your firm.
- Most of our fee is tied to the first-year fees from the clients we generate.
