Email marketing for accountants
The enquiries you already have, worth something
Most firms sit on a list of old enquiries, lapsed clients and half interested contacts that nobody has spoken to in months. The work is in the follow up, not the sending. We build the sequences, connect them to your CRM, and write them for accounting buyers who take months to decide.
- Every enquiry followed up automatically, whether or not you remember
- Dormant contacts worked again instead of quietly written off
- Existing clients told about services they never knew you offered
- Reporting that shows which emails produced booked calls
Fixed monthly, no long term contract. If the sequences are not producing conversations after three months, you keep the campaigns, the templates and the CRM setup.

Sound familiar?
Enquiries that went quiet and stayed quiet
Someone fills in the form, you reply, they say they will come back after year end, and that is the last anyone thinks about it. The average accounting buyer takes months to move. Firms that only follow up twice lose most of them to whoever kept talking. The list is usually the cheapest source of new work a firm has, and the least worked.
- Enquiries followed up once or twice, then forgotten entirely
- A contact list nobody has emailed since the last tax deadline
- Clients paying for one service with no idea you offer four more
What a working email system looks like
Sequences that run on their own, written for people comparing accountants rather than buying on impulse. Every enquiry enters the same path. Every dormant contact gets a reason to reply. You see what came from where.
- New enquiries enter a sequence the moment the form is submitted
- Dormant contacts reactivated with campaigns built around real deadlines
- Existing clients shown the services they are not yet buying
- Fixed monthly, campaigns and CRM setup remain yours
Follow up done properly compounds
Two firms where consistent contact, rather than a single clever campaign, is what produced the new work and the return on spend.
Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!

What the monthly fee covers
Three parts, built in order. The list is cleaned and segmented first, then the sequences go in, then the reporting tells you what to keep.
Enquiry Nurture Sequences
Every enquiry gets a structured follow up path instead of one reply and silence. Sequences run on delays, branch on whether someone books, and stop the moment they do. Written for accounting buyers who compare three firms before deciding.
NurtureDormant List Reactivation
Old enquiries and lapsed contacts get worked again with campaigns tied to filing dates, threshold changes and year end. This is the cheapest new work most firms have available. It usually produces replies within the first fortnight of sending.
ReactivationClient Cross Sell Campaigns
Existing clients learn about the services they are not currently paying for, in plain terms and without pressure. Payroll clients hear about tax planning. Sole traders hear about incorporation. The campaigns run to a calendar so nobody has to remember them.

Proactive Suggestions Before The Client Asks
“We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.”
Lead Connector Already Producing Qualified Traffic
“I cannot recommend Will at Fiscal Flow highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been seamless. Will is an absolute standout when it comes to communication. He is responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in the success of the project. I never felt left in the dark; he kept me updated at every stage and was always available to answer questions with clarity and patience. The app and website interface are incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Transitioning to a new system can be daunting, but the instructional videos provided are top-tier—short, clear, and they make the learning curve practically non-existent. The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand. Furthermore, the Lead Connector is a game-changer. It is remarkably simple to use and is already generating high-quality traffic and leads for my business. If you're looking for someone who delivers high-end results with a stress-free process, look no further than Will. Five stars all the way!”
Traffic Up Since The Site Went Live
“We couldn't be happier with the work Fiscal Flow has done for us. The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations. Since going live, we've already noticed an increase in traffic, and the early signs are very encouraging. The team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. We have high hopes for what this will achieve, and based on the results so far, we're confident we're moving in the right direction. Excellent service and highly recommended.”
Built around how accounting firms actually sell
We work with accounting and CPA firms only, so the sequences are written for a buyer who moves at year end rather than on a whim.
No explaining your sales cycle
You will not need to describe why a prospect who enquired in March signs in November. The sequences are timed around filing deadlines, year ends and the point where a client falls out with their current accountant. We have watched this pattern across more than 40 firms.
Connected to the rest of the system
Email is one layer on a CRM that also holds your enquiry forms, booking links and onboarding workflows. A prospect who books a call drops out of the nurture sequence automatically. Nothing is sent to someone who has already signed.
You see what produced the call
Every booked call is attributed back to the campaign that produced it, so you can stop the sequences that do nothing. Reporting is plain, one dashboard, no vanity metrics. Open rates are shown because they matter to deliverability, not because they look good.
Live in four steps
Most firms are sending within a fortnight. The heaviest lift is exporting your contact list, and we handle the tidying after that.
Qualification quiz
Five questions covering list size, enquiry volume and what you currently use for email. It takes a couple of minutes and tells us whether there is enough to work with. If there is not, we say so.
List audit and segmentation
You export your contacts, we clean, deduplicate and segment them into clients, dormant enquiries and cold contacts. Consent and suppression rules are applied at this stage. Nothing goes out before that is settled.
Sequences written and built
We write the nurture, reactivation and cross sell campaigns, load them into the CRM and connect them to your forms and booking link. You review the copy once. Your only job is to say whether it sounds like your firm.
Follow up runs itself
Enquiries are worked whether or not it is a busy week, and replies land in one inbox. You spend your time on the conversations that are ready rather than chasing the ones that are not.
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Not worth it if
Email works on a list. Without one, or without capacity, the sequences produce conversations you cannot serve.
- You have fewer than a few hundred contacts and no enquiry flow to feed the list
- You have no consent record for your contacts and no route to rebuilding one
- You are at capacity and cannot take on new clients this year
- You want one campaign sent this month rather than a system that runs continuously
If the list is thin, start with acquisition and come back once there are contacts worth nurturing. The SEO and paid acquisition pages cover that side.
The things firms usually ask
How often should an accounting firm email its list?
Monthly is the floor for a client list, fortnightly during deadline periods. Enquiry nurture sequences send more frequently in the first two weeks, then taper. Sending less than monthly means people forget who you are and mark you as spam when you reappear.
What happens after I complete the quiz?
You get a short assessment of whether email is the right next layer for your firm, based on your list size and enquiry volume. If it is, we arrange a call with Will to walk through the segmentation and what the sequences would cover. If it is not, we tell you which part of the system to build first.
We are a four person practice with a messy contact list. Is that a problem?
That is the normal starting position. We work with firms of 2 to 20 staff and most arrive with contacts spread across Outlook, practice software and a spreadsheet from 2022. Cleaning and segmenting that is part of the build, not something you need to sort out first.
Am I tied in, and what happens if I stop?
Fixed monthly, no long term contract. If you leave, the campaigns, templates and segmented list are exported to you and remain yours. Nothing is held hostage in an account you cannot access.
How does this work alongside our practice software?
The CRM sits alongside your practice software rather than replacing it. Enquiry data flows into the CRM, and once a prospect signs, the onboarding workflow hands them across. We map that flow before anything is built.
Will emailing our list cause deliverability or GDPR problems?
Only if it is done badly. We authenticate your sending domain, warm it gradually, and apply suppression and consent rules before the first send. Cold and dormant contacts are treated differently from clients, which is where most firms get it wrong.
