Google Business Profile management
Your firm shows up in the map pack. Then what happens?
Most firms claim the profile, add a logo, and leave it. The listing then competes on nothing while the practice down the road collects the local searches. Fiscal Flow works only with accounting and CPA firms, manages the profile as part of a wider acquisition system, and routes every call and message into a CRM so nothing sits unanswered.
- Local searches for your services find your firm, not the practice next door
- Every profile call, message and form logged in one place
- A steady flow of Trustpilot and Google reviews without chasing clients yourself
- Monthly reporting on calls, direction requests and enquiry sources
No long-term contract. If the profile work is not producing enquiries after three months, you keep the rebuilt listing, the review system and the reporting, and you walk.

Sound familiar?
Claimed the profile, then left it alone?
A Google Business Profile that has not been touched since setup still appears in local results, just lower and with less to say. Competing firms with more reviews, fuller service listings and current posts take the clicks. The enquiries that do come through arrive as missed calls and unread messages inside an app nobody in the practice checks.
- Firms with newer, better structured listings outrank you in the map pack
- Profile calls and messages go unanswered because nobody owns the inbox
- Review count sits flat because asking clients feels awkward
What a managed profile looks like
The listing is rebuilt around the services you actually want to sell, kept current, and connected to the same CRM that handles the rest of your enquiries. Reviews are requested automatically at the right point in the client relationship.
- Categories, services and location data structured for the searches you want
- Calls and messages routed into your CRM with response tracking
- Automated review requests sent after onboarding, without you asking
- Fixed monthly management, no long-term contract, reporting you can read in five minutes
What local visibility work produced
Two firms, two different starting positions. Both were relying on referrals and word of mouth before the search side of the practice was rebuilt.
We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.
Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!
Three parts of the profile system
The listing itself, the review flow behind it, and the routing that decides what happens after someone taps call. All three are managed monthly.
Profile Built for Local Search
Your listing is structured around the services you want more of, with categories, service descriptions, service areas and photos mapped to how local businesses actually search. Posts and updates keep the profile active rather than dormant. Duplicate and unverified listings are cleaned up so the ranking signals point at one place.
Reviews Without the Awkward Ask
Review requests are triggered automatically at the point in the client relationship where people are most inclined to write one, usually just after onboarding completes. You approve the wording once and it runs. Replies to incoming reviews are drafted for you, including the ones that need care.
Enquiries That Land Somewhere
Profile calls, messages and website form fills route into a single CRM inbox with response times tracked. Missed calls trigger an automatic text so the enquiry is not lost to the next firm on the list. Monthly reporting shows calls, direction requests, searches and which of them became a booked meeting.
Six Trustpilot reviews, different problems solved
Practices of different sizes and different starting points. Some came for the website, some for lead generation, most stayed for the systems underneath.
Website Exceeded Expectations And Traffic Rose
“We couldn't be happier with the work Fiscal Flow has done for us. The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations. Since going live, we've already noticed an increase in traffic, and the early signs are very encouraging. The team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. We have high hopes for what this will achieve, and based on the results so far, we're confident we're moving in the right direction. Excellent service and highly recommended.”
Leads They Could Never Have Managed Alone
“Generated a large number of leads for our business which we could never have reached or managed on our own.”
Site Runs Fast And Generates Qualified Leads
“I cannot recommend Will at Fiscal Flow highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been seamless. Will is an absolute standout when it comes to communication. He is responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in the success of the project. I never felt left in the dark; he kept me updated at every stage and was always available to answer questions with clarity and patience. The app and website interface are incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Transitioning to a new system can be daunting, but the instructional videos provided are top-tier—short, clear, and they make the learning curve practically non-existent. The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand. Furthermore, the Lead Connector is a game-changer. It is remarkably simple to use and is already generating high-quality traffic and leads for my business. If you're looking for someone who delivers high-end results with a stress-free process, look no further than Will. Five stars all the way!”
Built around how practices actually win work
A general local SEO provider treats an accounting firm like a plumber with a different logo. The search behaviour, the buying cycle and the compliance constraints are all different.
Accounting firms only
We work with accounting and CPA practices and nothing else, so the category selection, service naming and review wording already reflect how business owners search for a bookkeeper, a limited company accountant or a VAT specialist. You will not spend the first month explaining what a self assessment deadline does to your calendar. Positioning decisions start from national business registry data and Google search volume rather than guesswork.
The profile connects to a system
Managing a listing in isolation produces calls nobody logs. Your profile feeds the same CRM that handles website enquiries, paid campaigns and onboarding, so one dashboard shows where every client came from. Chris at Thomas Emlyn Ltd runs thirty to fifty cold leads a month through that same infrastructure, producing five to ten booked meetings.
Reporting a partner can audit
You get call volume, direction requests, search terms and booked meetings, with the working shown. Projections are labelled as projections. If a month underperforms, the report says so before you have to ask.
Four steps, one hour of your time
Most of the work happens on our side. Your involvement is an access grant, one review call and approving the wording once.
Answer six questions
The qualification quiz on this page asks about your firm size, current enquiry sources and what you want more of. It takes a few minutes and gives us enough to assess whether local search is worth the investment for you at all.
Profile and competitor audit
We review your existing listing against the firms currently ranking above you in your area, including their categories, review velocity and service coverage. You get the findings in writing whether or not you go ahead. If the map pack in your area is not winnable, we say so.
Grant access, we rebuild
You add us as a manager on the profile and we handle the restructure, the duplicate cleanup, the photo and service work and the CRM routing. Review automation is drafted for your approval. Total time from you at this stage is usually under an hour.
Enquiries arrive and get answered
Local searches start reaching a listing that says what you do and has recent reviews to back it. Calls land in an inbox with someone accountable for them. You see the numbers monthly rather than wondering whether any of it is working.
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Not worth it if
Local search suits some practices and wastes money for others. Better to establish which you are before a call.
- You have no physical address or service area and work entirely remotely across the country
- Nobody in the practice can answer a phone call within the working day
- You are at capacity and would not take on a new client this quarter
- You want the listing managed in isolation with no CRM, no routing and no reporting
If any of those apply, the honest answer is that paid acquisition or a content system will serve you better first. The guides in Resources cover both, and the door stays open once you have capacity again.
What firms usually ask first
How much difference does a Google Business Profile make for an accounting firm?
For firms serving local businesses it decides whether you appear in the three listings shown above the organic results, which is where a large share of clicks on local searches go. The effect is strongest for searches with local intent, such as an accountant in a named town, and weakest for specialist national services. We assess which of those describes your target market before recommending the work.
What actually happens if I take the qualification step?
You answer six questions and, if the fit looks reasonable, you speak to Will Pettifor directly rather than a salesperson. The call is a review of your current listing, the competing firms in your area and whether the map pack is realistically winnable. If it is not, you will be told that on the call.
We already have an agency handling our website. Does this conflict?
No. Profile management works alongside an existing site, though the results improve when the landing pages the profile points to are built for conversion. We work with firms of 2 to 20 staff, including practices switching providers midway through an existing arrangement. If your current agency is doing the profile work well, we will say so.
Am I tied in, and what happens if I stop?
Fixed monthly fee, no long-term contract. If you leave, the profile stays yours, the review history stays yours and the CRM data is exported to you. We remove our manager access and you carry on.
Can you get bad reviews removed?
Only where they breach Google's policies, which covers fake reviews, reviews from non-clients and anything defamatory. Legitimate criticism cannot be removed and attempting to bury it usually looks worse than answering it. We draft replies that address the point without breaching client confidentiality.
How long before the profile changes show up in results?
Category and service restructuring often shows movement within a few weeks. Review velocity and ranking improvements build over a few months, which is why we report monthly rather than promising a date. Any forward figure you see from us is labelled as a projection.
