Tax lead generation for firms
Tax enquiries that arrive already qualified
Most firms get tax work when someone remembers to refer them. That leaves January busy and the rest of the year uneven. Fiscal Flow builds the acquisition layer instead: niche positioning drawn from registry and search data, SEO architecture and paid campaigns, and CRM automation that screens enquiries before they reach your calendar.
- Tax enquiries arriving weekly rather than by referral chance
- Search pages built to convert, so traffic turns into booked calls
- Enquiries screened automatically before they take up partner time
- New clients onboarded digitally without adding admin headcount
No long-term contract. The system is built on assets you keep, so if you stop working with us the pages, the CRM and the client records remain yours.

Sound familiar?
Tax work still arriving by accident?
Most firms have no idea where next quarter's tax clients will come from. Referrals land when they land, the website collects the occasional form, and nobody follows up quickly enough to matter. The work gets done, but the pipeline is not something you can plan around or price against.
- Tax enquiries depend on referrals you cannot forecast or influence
- Website traffic arrives but almost none of it books a call
- Enquiries sit unanswered for days while partners are in client work
What a working system looks like
Demand is identified from registry and search data before anything is built. Pages are written to convert that specific demand, campaigns feed them, and the CRM handles response and screening so nothing waits on a partner being free.
- A defined tax niche with measurable search demand behind it
- Landing pages built around one action, so traffic converts
- Automated response and screening within minutes of an enquiry
- Fixed monthly arrangement with no long-term contract
What the system produced
Two firms, two different mechanisms. One built on outbound registry data, one on paid acquisition that later expanded into CRM and search.
Generated a large number of leads for our business which we could never have reached or managed on our own.
Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!
The three parts of the tax pipeline
Positioning decides who you attract, acquisition decides how many arrive, and automation decides how many survive the first 48 hours.
A Tax Niche Chosen From Data
You go to market on the tax work that has demand behind it, rather than the work you happen to enjoy. We cross national business registry data with Google search volume to find where enquiry demand exceeds local supply. That decision sets the structure of everything built afterwards.
PositioningSearch And Paid Working Together
Tax searches carry high intent and convert quickly when the page answers the exact question being asked. We build the page architecture for those searches and run Google and Meta campaigns into it. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen, and nine new clients, in the first two and a half months.
AcquisitionEnquiries Handled Without You
Response speed decides most tax enquiries, and partners are rarely free when one arrives. The CRM replies, qualifies and books, then hands over to a digital onboarding workflow that connects to your existing practice software. Annabel's enquiries are screened automatically so her calendar only carries high value opportunities.
AutomationSix reviews, different problems solved
The firms we work with have between 2 and 20 staff. Some came for leads, some for a site that converts, some for the systems behind both.
Site Exceeded Expectations And Lifted Traffic
“The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations.”
Lead Connector Already Producing Quality Leads
“The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand.”
Persistent Marketing With Long Term Results
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Built for practices, not for everyone
General agencies apply the same playbook to a plumber and a partner-led practice. The constraints are different, and so is the buying cycle for tax work.
Niche Chosen Before Anything Is Built
You are not asked which tax service to promote. Registry data and search data identify where demand sits and where competition is thin, and the campaign is built around that. It removes the guesswork that usually costs a firm its first three months of spend.
Acquisition And Onboarding In One Build
More tax enquiries only help if the practice can absorb them. The same build that produces the leads also carries the CRM automation and digital onboarding, so client numbers can rise without adding admin staff. Kieran started on paid lead generation and has since taken on the CRM and search side.
We Only Work With Firms
Every system here has been built and rebuilt inside accounting and CPA practices, currently more than 40 of them. You will not spend the first call explaining engagement letters, AML checks or why January looks different. The starting point is your practice, not the sector.
Four steps to a working pipeline
Most of the work sits with us. Your involvement is concentrated in the first two steps and then drops to reviewing what comes through.
Answer the qualification questions
The quiz on this page asks about your firm size, current enquiry volume and the tax work you want more of. It takes a few minutes. If the fit is poor, you will be told that rather than sold to.
Demand and niche review
We run registry and search data for your area and service mix, then show you where the demand actually sits. You get the reasoning, the numbers behind it and the projected enquiry range, labelled as projected.
We build and launch
Pages, tracking, campaigns, CRM workflows and onboarding sequences are built and connected to your existing practice software. Your input is limited to approving positioning and reviewing copy before it goes live.
Enquiries arrive and get worked
Tax enquiries come in, get answered within minutes and reach your calendar already screened. You spend your time on the ones worth having, and you can see where next quarter's clients are coming from.
“We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.”
Not worth it if
Tax lead generation only pays back under certain conditions, and it is cheaper for both of us to establish that now.
- You have no capacity to take on tax clients for the next two quarters
- You want leads only and have no intention of changing how enquiries are answered
- You need new clients billing this month and cannot fund a build period
- You are a sole practitioner with no admin support and no plan to add any
If any of those apply, the sensible move is to sort capacity or response process first. The newsletter covers both, and the qualification quiz will still be here when the timing works.
The things firms ask first
What counts as a tax lead, and how qualified are they?
A lead is someone who has searched for a specific tax service, landed on a page built for that search and asked to speak to someone. The CRM then screens for turnover, entity type and service need before anything reaches your calendar. Annabel uses the same qualification layer so her diary only carries opportunities worth the hour.
What happens after I complete the quiz?
You speak to Will Pettifor, who builds these systems, not a salesperson working from a script. The call covers your current enquiry volume, the tax niches with demand in your area and whether the numbers justify a build. If they do not, you will be told.
Does this work for a firm of our size, or if we already have an agency?
The systems are built for practices with 2 to 20 staff, which is where referral dependence bites hardest. Firms already running Google Ads or an SEO retainer are common; usually the issue is that the traffic has nowhere useful to land. We audit what exists before proposing anything new.
Are we tied into a contract?
No long-term contract. The arrangement is a fixed monthly fee covering build, campaign management and the CRM platform. If you leave, the pages, tracking and client records stay with you rather than being switched off.
Will this clash with our existing practice software?
The CRM sits in front of your practice software rather than replacing it. Onboarding workflows hand over client data at the point of engagement, so the enquiry, qualification and onboarding steps happen before your normal systems pick up. Integration is handled during the build.
How long before enquiries start arriving?
Paid campaigns can produce enquiries within the first few weeks of launch. Search takes longer; Prads at Wings Online Filings moved from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen over the first two and a half months, with nine new clients in that period. Any figure we forecast for your firm before launch is labelled as projected.
Stop guessing where tax clients come from
Answer the qualification questions and you will know whether the demand data supports a tax acquisition system for your firm, and what it would take to build one.
