Marketing for CPA and accounting firms
Referrals built the practice. They will not scale it.
Most CPA firms grow on introductions, which works until the pipeline goes quiet for a quarter and nobody can say why. We build the acquisition and onboarding layer that sits underneath the practice. Built only for accounting and CPA firms, working with 40+ of them since 2024, across the UK and US.
- A defined niche chosen from registry and search demand data
- Enquiries arriving from search rather than waiting on introductions
- Paid campaigns on Google and Meta pointed at that one niche
- New clients onboarded through automated workflows, not partner time
Fixed monthly, no long-term contract. If the system is not producing enquiries you can trace, you can stop, and the site, tracking and workflows stay with your firm.

Sound familiar?
Can you name where next month's clients come from?
Most firms in the 2 to 20 staff range can describe last year's growth but cannot forecast next quarter's. The website was built for credibility rather than enquiries, the ads were tried once and switched off, and every new client still costs a partner an hour of onboarding admin. None of that is a competence problem. It is a missing system.
- Growth depends on who happened to mention you this month
- The website reads well but produces almost no enquiries
- Every new client eats partner hours in onboarding admin
What the system looks like installed
One niche, chosen from registry and search data rather than instinct. Pages, ads and tracking built around that niche. Onboarding handled by workflows that connect to the software you already run.
- A pipeline you can forecast from search and paid demand
- Pages built to convert enquiries, with tracking on every source
- Onboarding runs on automated workflows, not partner hours
- Fixed monthly, no long-term contract, no percentage of fees
What changed after the system went in
Two firms who moved from referral dependence to traceable enquiry volume. Both reviews are verbatim from Trustpilot and both name the mechanism that worked.
Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!
Generated a large number of leads for our business which we could never have reached or managed on our own.
Three parts, built in order
Positioning is decided before anything is built, because a site and an ad account pointed at everyone produce enquiries you do not want.
A niche chosen from data
You stop competing with every general practice in the county because the firm is positioned against a segment with measurable demand. We combine national business registry data with Google search volume to find where enquiry demand exceeds local supply. The output is a positioning decision you can defend to your partners.
PositioningEnquiries from search and paid
Prospects find the firm when they are actively looking, rather than when someone remembers to mention you. That means an SEO architecture and landing page system built around the chosen niche, plus Google and Meta campaigns pointed at the same segment. Every source is tracked, so you can see which one produced the enquiry.
AcquisitionOnboarding without partner hours
New clients get through engagement letters, ID checks and data collection without a partner chasing email. CRM and marketing automation handle follow-up on enquiries, and digital onboarding workflows connect to the practice software you already run. Growth stops adding to the admin pile.
OnboardingSix Trustpilot reviews, different firms
Practices at different stages, some rebuilding a website, some starting paid acquisition from nothing, some adding CRM after the first year.
Website Exceeded Expectations, Traffic Already Up
“We couldn't be happier with the work Fiscal Flow has done for us. The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations. Since going live, we've already noticed an increase in traffic, and the early signs are very encouraging. The team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. We have high hopes for what this will achieve, and based on the results so far, we're confident we're moving in the right direction. Excellent service and highly recommended.”
Lead Connector Already Producing Quality Leads
“I cannot recommend Will at Fiscal Flow highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been seamless. Will is an absolute standout when it comes to communication. He is responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in the success of the project. I never felt left in the dark; he kept me updated at every stage and was always available to answer questions with clarity and patience. The app and website interface are incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Transitioning to a new system can be daunting, but the instructional videos provided are top-tier—short, clear, and they make the learning curve practically non-existent. The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand. Furthermore, the Lead Connector is a game-changer. It is remarkably simple to use and is already generating high-quality traffic and leads for my business. If you're looking for someone who delivers high-end results with a stress-free process, look no further than Will. Five stars all the way!”
Persistent Marketing With Long Term Results
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Built for one profession only
General agencies learn your sector on your budget. We have implemented the same framework across 40+ accounting and CPA firms since 2024.
Positioning decided by data
You do not have to guess which niche is worth owning. We cross national business registry records against Google search demand to find segments where enquiry volume outruns the number of firms visibly serving them. The niche recommendation arrives with the numbers behind it.
No explaining how practices work
Engagement letters, AML checks, MTD deadlines and the January compression all shape how a firm can absorb new work. We plan campaign volume around your capacity rather than pushing enquiries at a team already at the limit. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen, and nine new clients, in the first two and a half months.
Acquisition and onboarding together
Most agencies stop at the enquiry and leave the admin consequences with you. We build the CRM automation and digital onboarding at the same time as the acquisition system, so a rise in enquiries does not turn into a rise in partner admin. Annabel's enquiries are screened automatically, so her calendar only carries high value opportunities.
Four steps to a working system
Your input is concentrated at the start. After the positioning decision, most of the build happens without needing partner time.
Answer the qualification questions
Six questions on firm size, current enquiry sources and capacity. You get a straight answer on whether the system fits, including when it does not.
Review the niche analysis
We bring registry and search data on two or three viable segments for your firm. You choose which one to build around, and you can see the reasoning rather than being asked to trust it.
We build and connect it
Landing page system, SEO architecture, ad accounts, CRM and onboarding workflows go in around the chosen niche. Your involvement is approving copy and confirming how your practice software should connect.
You watch a pipeline you can forecast
Enquiries arrive with a traceable source, qualified before they hit your calendar. Growth stops depending on who happened to mention you last month.
“We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.”
Not worth it if
The system suits a specific type of firm, and taking the quiz is a waste of your afternoon if any of these describe yours.
- You are a sole practitioner with no capacity to take on additional clients this year
- You want to serve every business type and will not commit to a defined niche
- You need enquiries this month and cannot give search work a quarter to compound
- You want a marketing supplier to run in isolation with no access to your onboarding process
If you are close but not ready, the newsletter covers the same frameworks in writing and costs nothing. Come back when capacity or appetite for a niche decision has changed.
The questions firm owners ask first
Why does marketing for CPAs need a niche rather than general local targeting?
A general practice competes on price and proximity against every other general practice nearby, which makes search and paid acquisition expensive and vague. A defined niche narrows the message, lifts conversion rates on the same traffic and lets you charge for specialism. We choose the niche from registry and search data so the decision is based on measurable demand rather than which sector you happen to like.
What actually happens after I complete the qualification quiz?
The quiz asks about firm size, current enquiry sources and capacity, and returns a straight answer on fit. If it fits, you speak with Will Pettifor, who does the implementation work, rather than a salesperson reading a script. If it does not fit, you are told that and no call is booked.
We already have a website and an agency. Is it worth switching?
Most firms we work with arrive with a site that reads well and produces very little. Niall at OD Accountants had his rebuilt around conversion rather than content, and saw monthly visitors up four times over with ten to fifteen enquiries in the first month after launch. If your current setup is producing traceable enquiries at a cost you are happy with, keep it.
Am I locked in, and what happens if I leave?
Pricing is fixed monthly with no long-term contract and no percentage of the fees you win. If you stop, the website, tracking setup and onboarding workflows remain with your firm. We do not hold your domain, your data or your client records hostage.
Will the onboarding automation work with the practice software we already run?
The onboarding workflows are built to connect to your existing practice stack rather than replace it, covering engagement letters, ID and data collection. We confirm the integration points during the build rather than assuming them. If something genuinely cannot connect, we tell you before the work starts.
How do I know which channel produced a given client?
Every enquiry source is tracked from first click through to the CRM record, so you can attribute a new client to search, paid or outbound rather than guessing. That matters when you are deciding where the next month of budget goes. Any forward figures we share are labelled as modelled, because your team reconciles numbers for a living.
