Online marketing for accounting firms
Your firm's growth stops being a referral lottery
Most firms market in fragments: a website here, a Google Ads account there, an SEO retainer nobody reviews. The parts never talk to each other, so nobody can say which one produced the last client. We build the parts as one system, work only with accounting and CPA firms, and report on enquiries and clients rather than impressions.
- Enquiries arriving from search and paid channels every month, not by chance
- One position your firm can own, chosen from registry and search demand data
- Every enquiry logged, followed up and attributed to the channel that produced it
- New clients onboarded through automated workflows instead of manual admin
No long-term contract. If the system is not producing enquiries you can trace, you are free to stop, and the website, tracking and CRM setup remain yours.

Marketing that nobody can measure
Most practices under twenty staff have collected channels rather than built a system. A website that reads like a brochure, an ads account someone set up two years ago, a Google Business Profile last touched when it was created. Each piece may be fine on its own. Together they produce enquiries you cannot trace and cannot repeat.
- New clients arrive through referrals, so growth stops when referrals slow
- Website traffic exists but almost none of it becomes an enquiry
- Enquiries sit in an inbox until someone remembers to reply
What a working system looks like
One position, one set of pages built to convert, paid and organic feeding the same pipeline, and a CRM that catches every enquiry. Each part is measured, so you know which channel produced which client.
- Demand generated on purpose, with referrals becoming a supplement rather than the engine
- Pages built around the services you want to sell, with enquiry as the next step
- Every enquiry captured in the CRM with automated follow up from first contact
- Fixed monthly pricing, no long-term contract, and reporting on enquiries and clients
What the system produced
Two firms, two different starting points. Both moved from unpredictable enquiry volume to something they could plan capacity around.
Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!
We couldn't be happier with the work Fiscal Flow has done for us. The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations. Since going live, we've already noticed an increase in traffic, and the early signs are very encouraging. The team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. We have high hopes for what this will achieve, and based on the results so far, we're confident we're moving in the right direction. Excellent service and highly recommended.
The three layers of the system
Positioning decides what you sell and to whom. Acquisition brings the demand. Automation makes sure none of it is dropped between enquiry and onboarding.
A position worth owning
You stop competing with every general practice in the county and start ranking for work you actually want. We use national business registry data and Google search data to find niches with real volume and thin competition, then build the positioning around one of them. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen, with nine new clients, in the first two and a half months on this approach.
PositioningSearch and paid working together
Organic pages and paid campaigns point at the same services and the same enquiry path, so spend and content compound instead of competing. SEO architecture covers service and use case pages, Google Business Profile and content; paid covers Google and Meta. Niall at OD Accountants saw monthly visitors up four times over and ten to fifteen enquiries in the first month after the site was rebuilt around conversion.
AcquisitionNothing dropped after the enquiry
Every enquiry lands in a CRM with automated follow up, so a form filled on a Friday evening is not still sitting there on Monday. Qualification runs before the call, and digital onboarding workflows move accepted clients into your practice software without extra admin. Annabel uses the AI qualification layer on her enquiry form so her calendar only carries high value opportunities.

The firms we work with range from sole directors adding their first marketing channel to established practices rebuilding how they acquire clients.
Leads Beyond What The Firm Could Reach Alone
“Generated a large number of leads for our business which we could never have reached or managed on our own.”
Persistent Marketing With Long Term Results
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Website That Runs Fast And Generates Leads
“The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand.”
Built for one industry only
General agencies learn your sector on your budget. We work exclusively with accounting and CPA firms, so the first call starts several steps further along.
Niches chosen from data
You do not pick a niche in a workshop and hope it has volume. We combine national business registry data with Google search data to see where demand sits and where competition is thin, then build the positioning around that. The result is a target market you can evidence before spending anything on it.
One system, not five suppliers
Website, SEO, paid, CRM and onboarding are built as connected parts, so an enquiry from a Meta ad and one from an organic page follow the same path. That removes the usual argument about which supplier deserves credit for a client. It also means attribution is available rather than reconstructed.
Capacity considered before volume
More enquiries are only useful if your team can absorb them. Onboarding workflows and qualification are built alongside acquisition, so growth does not land as administrative overhead on the partners. Firms with 2 to 20 staff feel this quickly.
Four steps from first call to live
Most of the work sits with us. What we need from you is decisions on positioning and services, and access to what already exists.
Qualification and fit check
You answer a short set of questions about your firm, current channels and capacity. If the system is not a fit for where you are, we say so rather than booking a call to find out slowly.
Data and positioning review
We analyse registry and search data for your market and come back with the niches that carry demand. You choose the direction; we do not impose one. Nothing is built until that decision is made.
Build and integration
Site architecture, landing pages, tracking, CRM and onboarding workflows are built and connected to your existing practice software. Your input is limited to sign off and a small amount of firm-specific detail.
Enquiries you can plan around
Campaigns go live and enquiries start arriving into a CRM that follows up automatically. You review monthly numbers on enquiries, calls booked and clients won, and decide where to push next. Growth becomes a capacity question rather than a hoping question.
“We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.”
Not worth it if
The qualification step exists to save both sides a call that was never going to go anywhere.
- You have no capacity to take on new clients for the next six months
- You want leads next week and have no interest in building search assets
- You are unwilling to narrow your positioning and want to keep marketing to everyone
- Nobody at the firm can commit to responding to enquiries within a working day
If any of those apply, the honest answer is to wait. Come back when capacity or appetite has changed, and the data work still holds.
The things firms ask first
How is online marketing for an accounting firm different from marketing any other business?
Buying intent is concentrated and seasonal, and most searches are either local or service specific, such as company formation or landlord tax. That makes niche positioning and page architecture more important than volume of content. It also means paid campaigns need tight service targeting rather than broad awareness spend.
What actually happens after I complete the qualification questions?
You answer questions about your firm, current channels and capacity, and we tell you whether the system fits. If it does, you book a call with Will Pettifor, who does the strategy work rather than a salesperson reading a script. If it does not, we say that and you have lost a few minutes.
We are small and already have an agency. Is that a problem?
The system is built for firms with 2 to 20 staff, which is the size where marketing is usually fragmented across suppliers. If you have an existing agency handling one channel, we review what is working before proposing to replace anything. Several firms started with one channel and expanded once the reporting made the picture clear.
What is the commitment, and what happens if we stop?
Pricing is fixed monthly with no long-term contract. If you stop, the website, tracking setup and CRM configuration remain with you, so you are not handing back the assets. SEO results built over months do not disappear the day you leave.
How long before search work produces enquiries?
Paid campaigns can produce enquiries within weeks because you are buying existing demand. Search architecture takes longer, usually a few months before rankings move on commercial terms. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen within the first two and a half months, though timelines vary by market and competition.
How do we know which channel produced a client?
Every enquiry is captured in the CRM with its source recorded, so calls booked and clients won can be traced back to the page or campaign that produced them. Monthly reporting shows enquiries, booked calls and conversions rather than impressions. That is what makes the next spending decision straightforward.
