Inbound marketing for accountants
Enquiries that arrive already looking for you.
Most firms grow on referrals until the referrals flatten out, then start publishing content and wonder why nothing books. Inbound works when positioning, search architecture and enquiry handling are built as one system. We work only with accounting and CPA firms, we build from registry and search data, and we install the follow up alongside the pages.
- Search demand mapped before a single page is written
- Pages built around the services you actually want to sell
- Enquiries qualified automatically before they reach your calendar
- A pipeline that keeps working when referrals go quiet
No long term contract. If the system is not producing enquiries, you keep the pages, the tracking and the data, and you stop.

Sound familiar?
Publishing content that nobody enquires from?
Most accounting firm websites read like a services brochure with a blog attached. They rank for the firm name and little else, and the few enquiries that arrive are price shoppers or sole traders you would rather not take on. The work goes in every month. The pipeline stays flat.
- Blog posts written on topic ideas rather than search demand
- Homepage traffic that never converts into a booked call
- Enquiries arriving unqualified and eating partner time
What a working inbound system looks like
Demand comes first, then the pages, then the handling. Each part is built to feed the next, so a search turns into an enquiry and an enquiry turns into a call without anyone chasing it.
- Content mapped to search volume and commercial intent, not guesswork
- Service pages built to convert, with one clear next step
- Enquiries screened automatically so your diary carries the good ones
- Fixed monthly arrangement, no long term contract to sign
What the system produced
Two firms who rebuilt their inbound around search and conversion rather than publishing volume, with the numbers they saw afterwards.
We couldn't be happier with the work Fiscal Flow has done for us. The website looks incredible, feels modern and professional, and has exceeded our expectations. Since going live, we've already noticed an increase in traffic, and the early signs are very encouraging. The team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. We have high hopes for what this will achieve, and based on the results so far, we're confident we're moving in the right direction. Excellent service and highly recommended.
We've been genuinely impressed with Fiscal Flow. As an accountancy practice, we wanted a partner who understood our sector, and they've delivered on that from day one. What stands out most is how responsive and proactive the team is. Queries are dealt with quickly, and they regularly come to us with suggestions and improvements before we've even thought to ask. That kind of forward-thinking support is rare and makes a real difference to a busy practice. The service itself has been excellent throughout, and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommended to any accounting firm looking for a marketing partner who actually delivers.
The three parts of the system
Positioning decides what you rank for, architecture decides whether you rank, and handling decides whether the enquiry becomes a client.
A niche worth owning
You end up with a defined position that has measurable search demand behind it, chosen from national business registry data and Google search data rather than instinct. That means the pages you build have people already looking for them. Niall at OD Accountants saw monthly visitors go up four times over after the site was rebuilt around a clear position and conversion.
PositioningPages built to be found
Your site gets a structure where each service and niche has its own page, internally linked, mapped to the terms buyers actually type. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen, and nine new clients, in the first two and a half months on this architecture. The content calendar follows the map instead of replacing it.
SEO architectureEnquiries handled without you
Every enquiry is acknowledged, screened and routed automatically, so the ones reaching your diary are worth the hour. Annabel has her enquiries screened by an AI qualification layer on the form, which means her calendar only carries high value opportunities. The follow up sequences run whether or not anyone in the practice remembers to send them.

Sole practitioners, small partnerships and multi office practices, all on Trustpilot and all written by the people who ran the work.
Leads Beyond What The Firm Could Reach
“Generated a large number of leads for our business which we could never have reached or managed on our own.”
Sceptical At First, Now Expanding The System
“Will has been great since day 1 - clearly explaining his services, how the software works etc. and has responded quickly to any queries I have had. Since starting with Fiscal Flow last year, we have now seen a few clients added to our portfolio, with one of them being £250 + VAT per month, producing a great ROI. We haven't used any real advertising methods/software before (other than google ads) so i was sceptical - but really happy with how things have been going. I have now signed up for the CRM software/SEO side of things with Will and look forward to how this goes!”
Site Runs Fast And Generates Leads
“I cannot recommend Will at Fiscal Flow highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been seamless. Will is an absolute standout when it comes to communication. He is responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in the success of the project. I never felt left in the dark; he kept me updated at every stage and was always available to answer questions with clarity and patience. The app and website interface are incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Transitioning to a new system can be daunting, but the instructional videos provided are top-tier—short, clear, and they make the learning curve practically non-existent. The website Will created for me is, quite frankly, absolutely phenomenal. It looks professional, runs fast, and perfectly captures my brand. Furthermore, the Lead Connector is a game-changer. It is remarkably simple to use and is already generating high-quality traffic and leads for my business. If you're looking for someone who delivers high-end results with a stress-free process, look no further than Will. Five stars all the way!”
Built for one profession only
General agencies learn your sector on your budget. We have already run this system across accounting practices and know where the demand sits.
Niches picked from data
Niche selection starts with national business registry data cross referenced against Google search data, so you can see how many businesses of a given type exist in your reach and how many are searching. You are choosing between measured options rather than arguing about which sector feels promising. Firms that pick this way stop competing on the terms every practice in the county targets.
Marketing and onboarding joined up
The enquiry, the qualification, the proposal and the onboarding sit in one system rather than four disconnected tools. That matters when volume rises, because most firms hit an admin ceiling before they hit a demand ceiling. Kieran at Swift started on paid lead generation and has since extended into the CRM and SEO side of the same setup.
We already speak your language
You will not spend the first month explaining what a compliance client is worth over five years, why January is a write off for new work, or how a limited company client differs from a sole trader in acquisition cost. The work starts at strategy rather than education. That is what forty plus accounting firms have bought from us since 2024.
Live in four steps
Most of the work sits with us. Your input is concentrated into two short sessions at the start and a monthly review afterwards.
Demand and niche analysis
We pull registry and search data for your service area and show you which niches have volume, which have competition, and which are being ignored. You see the numbers before anything is committed to. Nothing gets built on a hunch.
Positioning and page map
We agree the position and map every page the site needs, including service pages, niche pages and the supporting content that feeds them. You approve the map before writing starts. If a page has no search demand behind it, it does not go on the list.
Build and automation install
We build the pages, set the tracking, and install the enquiry handling and follow up sequences into your CRM. You review copy for technical accuracy, which usually takes an hour or two in total. Everything else is on us.
Enquiries arriving on their own
Search traffic starts converting, qualified enquiries land in your diary, and the follow up runs without anyone chasing it. You review the numbers monthly and decide what to expand. Growth stops depending on who happened to recommend you last quarter.
“Great persistent marketing with good long term results.”
Not worth it if
Inbound is a slow compounding asset. There are situations where it is the wrong first move and we would rather say so now.
- You need clients this month and cannot wait for search to compound
- You have no capacity to take on new clients for the next two quarters
- You want content published without changing positioning or site structure
- You expect to review results weekly and change direction each time
If the timing is wrong, outbound or paid acquisition will usually fit better in the short term, and we will point you at whichever applies. Come back to inbound when there is capacity to absorb the work it produces.
The things firms ask first
How long before inbound marketing produces enquiries for an accounting firm?
Search based work compounds, so the honest answer is that the first meaningful movement usually shows in the first quarter and builds from there. Prads at Wings Online Filings went from five to seven enquiries a month to fifteen to sixteen within the first two and a half months, and Niall at OD Accountants saw ten to fifteen enquiries in the first month after his site relaunched. Those are the faster cases, not the average, and both involved a full rebuild rather than added blog posts.
What actually happens when I complete the qualification quiz?
You answer a short set of questions about your firm size, current acquisition method and capacity, and you get a straight read on whether inbound is the right first system for you. If it is, we book a call to look at the demand data for your area. Will Pettifor runs those calls, so you are speaking to the person who designs the system rather than a sales team.
Does this work for a firm my size, or with an existing website?
The system is built for practices with roughly 2 to 20 staff, which is where referral growth typically stalls first. An existing website is normally the starting point rather than an obstacle, though if it is built on a platform that blocks proper page structure we will tell you that before you commit. Firms switching from a general marketing agency are common and we work from whatever assets already exist.
Am I locked into a contract?
The arrangement is a fixed monthly fee with no long term contract. If you stop, you keep the pages, the tracking setup and the data behind them, because the site belongs to your firm. There is no exit fee and no clause that keeps you paying for work that has stopped producing.
Will this conflict with our existing SEO or Google Ads work?
It usually replaces or absorbs it rather than running alongside, because two parties working on the same site structure causes more problems than it solves. If you have Google Ads running and performing, that can stay and be fed by the same landing page system. We audit what exists before recommending anything is switched off.
How do we know which enquiries came from the inbound system?
Every enquiry source is tracked through the CRM, so you can see which page, which search term and which sequence produced a booked call. That is reviewed monthly against new client numbers rather than traffic. Traffic on its own tells you very little about whether the system is paying for itself.
Referrals will keep coming. They just stop growing.
